This Privacy Policy explains how Speak Right (“Speak Right,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Speak Right mobile application (the “App”). This policy is intended to help users understand our privacy practices and support Apple App Store review requirements.
1. No Account Required
Speak Right does not require account creation, login, or authentication to use its core functionality. We do not maintain a general user account profile for you in order to use the App.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect or receive the following categories of information:
- Usage and analytics data: app events, screens viewed, feature interactions, approximate device and app version information, and performance data.
- Crash and diagnostics data:error logs, crash traces, device model, operating system version, and technical diagnostics used to improve stability.
- Purchase and subscription data:subscription status, purchase tokens, entitlement status, restore events, and related transaction metadata processed through Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat.
- Audio and pronunciation inputs:voice recordings, speech samples, or related user inputs that you choose to provide when using pronunciation, recording, or analysis features.
- AI-related inputs and outputs:prompts, text, pronunciation analysis requests, and generated responses used to power AI-assisted features.
- Support communications: any information you send when contacting us by email, including your email address and the contents of your message.
- Waitlist and launch update data:if you join our website waitlist, we may collect your email address and related signup metadata to send launch announcements and product update emails.
- Local settings and preferences:app preferences stored on your device, such as onboarding or app state preferences.
3. How We Use Information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to operate and improve Speak Right, including to:
- provide pronunciation, recording, and AI-assisted features;
- process subscriptions, verify entitlements, and restore purchases;
- measure app performance and understand feature usage;
- diagnose crashes, errors, and technical issues;
- send launch announcements and optional product updates to users who join the waitlist;
- respond to support requests and legal/privacy requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the App. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may include:
- Apple In-App Purchase for subscription billing and payment processing;
- RevenueCat for subscription status, entitlement management, and purchase restoration;
- Firebase Analytics for usage analytics;
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics;
- Mailchimp or similar email service providers for waitlist management and launch emails;
- AI service providers used to power AI-assisted app features; and
- web content providers when pages are opened inside an in-app web view.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their independent direct marketing purposes.
5. Audio, AI, and Sensitive Inputs
If you use pronunciation recording or AI-powered features, the audio, text, or related inputs you provide may be processed on-device and/or by service providers in order to generate feedback, analysis, or other results. Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information in audio recordings, prompts, support messages, or free-text inputs.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because Speak Right does not require an account, we generally do not maintain a long-term user profile tied to your identity. Data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Information stored locally on your device can typically be removed by deleting the App or clearing app data where available. If you contact us and want us to delete support communications or other information we directly control, email us at support@bimtas.ma. We may ask for enough detail to identify the relevant records.
Purchase records and billing-related records may also be retained by Apple, RevenueCat, or other providers in accordance with their own legal and operational requirements.
7. Your Choices
You may choose not to submit optional information, such as support emails, recordings, or AI prompts. You may also disable permissions, such as microphone access, through your device settings; however, certain features may not function without those permissions.
If you join the website waitlist, you may unsubscribe from launch or product update emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at support@bimtas.ma.
8. Children’s Privacy
Speak Right is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version in the App or on this website and revise the “Last updated” date above.
